David Sylvian has been one of my all-time favorite musician-artists.
He resonates with me particularly perhaps because of his ongoing friendship with ethnomusicologist/musician Ryuichi Sakamoto of Japan, whom I admire greatly, and David himself being dedicated to following a unique uncategorizable path of music-making which includes his own practice of Zen meditation.
